Stand As One’, what made you want to make this in
remembrance of the September the 11th attacks?
Well there was a song that I was working on which was
about loved ones who had passed away and I remember
playing it for a dear friend of mine, Chris, and I kept
playing her verses, and she understood it, but when I
played it for some other of my friends they didn’t quite get
it, it was like it was ahead of it’s time. Then when 9/11
happened three years later I started playing that song
again and I was with my German Shepard and I started
playing the song and it launched into this incredible
message for my loved ones who had passed away on
that day and it’s almost a message for all the people who
passed away on that day. So I played it and I was in tears,
my German Shepard was howling and my wife came in
and she was in tears and we knew that we had to get this
song out to the world. So the song went out there and it’s still out there and every day we share it and it’s a nice gift to leave behind for people to embrace.
What are you currently working on? Are you still involved in the stunt industry?
Absolutely! I currently the stunt coordinator for an ABC show, called Castle, and we shot right across the street from Paramount studios so it was great déjà vu to be right near Paramount again. So yeah I’m doing Castle and writing some other songs.
