I think I'm only genuinely starting to come to terms with that now after doing my taxes for a few years.
What is the process of actually making a strip?
It depends on the strip. Usually I'll be talking to someone or reading an article online and something Bunny-related will pop into my head, and I'll sit down and draw that. But sometimes I'm just using the comic to decompress my head, so I'll start drawing at random to see if anything interesting comes out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Do you have a favourite strip that you've done?
If I had to be pushed, I think my favourite strips are the story-based ones, or at least the strips with a touch of continuity.
Do you ever find it hard to come up with a new idea for a story/joke?
As it happens Bunny is undergoing a bit of a shift recently because of how difficult it's become to come up with something I don't immediately hate so much I want to claw my own brain out. I think four years of newspaper-style comics is too long.
